My father died without a will my stepmum was next kin ,what should happen when she dies ,do i get anything?

my father died suddenly many years ago ,my step-mum lived until about ten years after my father died,not sure if she had a will ..my step-sister has never said anything about it ,i wondered if i should have received something.mt dad built the bungalow they lived in ,not sure if it was sold or rented out ,any advice would be welcome
