I am completely stunned. While I was involved with someone, she was pointedly cruel, shamefully abusive and never admitted to it. I attempted suicide because life did not get better and her cruel, unending words pushed me over the edge. Whom did she seek comfort from? The person she's with now. I just was their picture. I am absolutely ill. Not that they shouldn't be together, it's just that she lied, and lied and lied and I KNEW they were involved! I SAW IT! I KNEW IT. She told me this person was "too giant" for her, "too big", "too huge" and she said they joked that they weren't attracted to one another. If they weren't attracted to one another, why would that even come up as a topic? What hurts the most is that this person can give her everything I used to have. I lost my business, I lost my income, I lost my dignity, my looks and worst of all, I live with my parents. I had a complete breakdown. And she lied and lied and lied. I have lost my faith in humankind. I give up. I wish the suicide attempt had been successful. I can't trust another, it's too dangerous. I am stunned. There they are, in all their glory, smiling for the camera. I. AM. CRUSHED. There is no hope. Everyone I've been "married" to has either lied or they simply didn't love me. The truth, I am not loveable. And that's the bottom line. I have absolutely nothing to live for.

My landlord gave someone (plumber) permission to come into my house without first notifying me, I was next door at a friends house (left my door unlocked) and when I came back last night i was locked out and had to spend $50 on a locksmith! From experience I'd say, definitely, my level 50 Typhlosion had one hell of a bad time, yeah I know it was at a disadvantage but it had Rock slide, get your Pokemon to around 40-45 and keep at least 2 Pokemon that has a move strong against her Pokemon, a good Pokemon would be one that has a Dragon type move, for example your Gyarados can learn Twister, Dragon Rage isn't a good one because it's limited to only 40 points of damage. Her team will fall to mostly Ice and Dragon type moves except for Kingdra which will only fall to Dragon type move, Rock type moves will work as well, hope this helps

Thoughts on my first chapter?

I liked it, it was easy to read and flowed well. The dialogue is well written. The tone of the piece is clear, and the setting is shown to the reader through a 'what once was and is now' manner, allowing you to easily go on and tell us why. The relationship between the two characters is established quickly. However what is the 'innate gift'? or is that what you explore later in the book? Your writing isnt overly burden with unnessecary description; nice balance there. I thought it was quite a good writing style as opposed to alot of other pieces that have been posted on this site. Keep it up - as they say practice makes perfect.

Preeclampsia Vs. Gestational Diabetes?

I am 36 weeks 5 days. Since my last OB visit on thursday my feet and face have swelled up severely, I have put on 8 pounds, used the restroom the least I have this entire pregnancy, had a raised baseline blood pressure (has been for 2 weeks now), and when she checked on thursday this was also the 2nd week I have had protein in my urine. I have been having pain in my stomach for about a month now (since august 2nd), she says they are NOT contractions (they feel like food poisoning) and according to just about every source this points to preeclampsia. My doctor had me keep track of my blood sugar over the weekend (saturdays were 75, 110, 130, 90, 130, 115 (rounded up)) She has ordered the A1C test and sent me to a diabetic educator. I don't understand why. My father-in-law is diabetic and I know about diabetes and this is definitely not diabetes. I am going to go to the appointment to humor her. Is there some hidden truth in what she is saying? When I called today I told her nurse everything that was going on and when they called back they completely ignored what I suspected. Whats going on? Am I off base about preeclampsia or do doctors normally ignore it?

As a retired chef, I got out of the business because of all the unnecessary yelling and stress that goes on in kitchens all around the world. The pay is not as great as most people thing Chefs in general are paid a salery wage not hourly because a chef is in a management position. once you count all your hours and the salery pay it figures to less than $4.00 per hour. Waiters and waitresses get tips above their hourly wage not in management. I never once made minimum wage as a cook in any restaurant i worked at. but putting in all the hours as a chef i was paid less than minimum wage. I didnt mind the pay i loved what i was doing it was all the unnecessary yelling, complaints, and stress that I was tired of. I dont know why you are complaining. I love cooking and currently cater and love what i do on my terms. From my take on how you describe things about yourself, I think you would be extremely bored as a Correctional Officer although you could have a regular life. But I don't think you want or are built for a normal boring day after day life. As soon as you mentioned the Rangers I say Military. As far as those "orders" you mentioned, you sound intelligent and mature I believe you will find a way to deal with them. Life is supposed to be an adventure, go live it. Godspeed.

i acknowledge that people get and are born ill. the word ill meanong anything not considered healthy, either physical or mental. also, i acknowledge that some people need help as they are not as able as others to handle certain situations. and some people, experience more difficult situations than others, either of the extemes could be paired with the other. my hypotheses is, if no one ever knew or considered :depression" as a treatable 'disease', then maybe, people would be forced to look else where to fell better. maybe by getting emotional support instead of medicinal support. this outcome however, would cost the political industy and therefore economy, a great amount of adjustment. i wonder what, if anything, could be done to raise awareness of alternatives to DRUGS! which by the way, hasnt our country declared war on drugs?

Best way to drive from Montezuma to Arenal Observatory Lodge in Costa Rica?

Hello, i am looking for some advice on Costa Rica driving. I will be driving from Montezuma in the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula to the Arenal Observatory Lodge and am wondering what the best route will be. I have looked at a map and it looks like I have two options. Option #1 - Montezuma to Paquera and then catch the ferry and then head to San Ramon and then go North on 141. Option #2 - Montezuma to Paquera and drive around the Gulf of Nicoya by taking Highway 21 to Highway 18 to Highway 1 to Highway 142? Also, if there is another route that may work I would appreciate the advice. I will be driving a small 4x4.

Has anyone had luck transplanting very mature ivy?

I uprooted a very mature piece of ivy yesterday and am wanting it to grow vertically (from my planter to the trellis on my ceiling) on my back deck. The ivy may be around 15' long and I'm afraid it's just too old and long to try to transplant. Anyway, my question for you guys is in regard to the exposed tenticles (approx. 1') of the original root system (after at least that much was buried). I've added a root stimulator and fertilizer, but am wondering if I need to clip some of the original root off due to it's length, mist the exposed tenticles every day (it's 100 degrees here) or what?!! Question about snow build up on my roof?

Terry, I have a question for you. When your bungalow was built, Was there a 'building permit' issued? If there was then the blueprints for it had to be looked at by your local building/zoning dept. which then had to p all weight(snow,ice,live) barring loads on the roof. If there wasn`t a building permit issued and ped for 'occupancy' then there might be a problem here. Even still I would try to shovel off some snow, just around all the pipes sticking up through the roof shingles an off of the top of the chimney(if you have one). This will keep any harmful fumes from coming back down into you house. Don`t recommend hiring someone to shovel due your insurance company issues here-(getting sued by falling off roof).Don`t know if your bungalow has rafters or trusses. Either way, your local building dept. inspector would be the best person to talk to here. 4 to 5 feet of snow is a lot of snow even on a roof, it will only get worse when it turns to solid ice-(more weight). I've only known this girl for two and a half weeks. Normally I wouldn't sleep with someone so quickly, but it happened. To me, and many families in the United States, the ever increasing price of gas at the pump may be the most important issue in the upcoming election next the war in iraq. I worked in Chicago for three years doing a number of biotechnology jobs that paid in the range of 25k to 35k a year. however, for many of these jobs i had to drive round trip about 100miles a day with no istance from the job for driving costs, and public transportation to these jobs either did not exist or required multiple transfers that would have taken hours to complete. now with the price of gas being what it is, i have no idea how some people are surviving and have enough for family recreation. I went back to school to try and earn a higher degree and my stipend pays me more than enough to survive, but every month i read articles saying families must cut recreation out of their lives, what are you going to do to help us?

ok so my little sister has a mini hp she got for christmas last year and she was careless and got a virus before i could get on her laptop to download an anti-virus. well i removed the virus and she now has anti-virus on it. when i removed the virus i was working in safe mode without networking. now when i get on the laptop at the bottom the connection is shown as full and when hovered it shows our router name and beneath in italics it says internet access. when i go on the internet (explorer) it says internet explorer cannot display the webpage. i click diagnose connection problem and windows network diagnostics window pops up and says trouble shooting has successfully completed. Problems found: the remote device or resource won't accept the connection. Detected /!\ and thats as far as i can get i need some help

I dont know about the Korean system, it seems a little "old school" but the way you do it now is with water tubes circulating hot water under your floor. Basically, the floor can be any material, but concrete will work best as the tubes can be totally encased. However, you can use a standard flooring like wood floor and just use some type of radiant barrier on the underside of the radiant heating tubes to direct the heat upward into the wood.

High pitched whine from front wheels?

My mom drives a 2004 Pontiac Vibe and ive noticed some high pitched whining sound coming from her wheels when i drive it. Is there more than one size square radiater key?

i have a customer with a 20 yr old hot water boiler,,360k btu....house is much older with very old radiaters...had a circulater problem that caused major water leak from boiler system...problem is fixed but my standard size radiater key is too large for the square shaft that is inside the bleeder fittings...no one seems to have heard of this except one explanation i got was that possibly the radiaters may have had knobs that were attached to these small square shafts..the knobs eventually broke off,leaving these odd size shafts that there is no key for???...do they make 4-point sockets, one of which might fit...or does a plumber need to replace the entire bleeder port on the radiaters that have this issue?................dan

They are speaking from their ego. I am excatly the same I am only 22 and feel like I have lived more of a life than most 80 year olds with the amount of stuff that has happened in my life. Funnily enough, don't you find that the older people are so closed off to life? Then we are supposed to aspire to be like them? I refuse to do that. I have been job hopping for like 3 years to try and find what really entrigues me and what I find interesting and what I want to do on a daily basis that makes me tick. It's tough, but it takes time. If your parents don't understand this, they need to look at themselves a little bit further. I am not meaning to offend your parents, but it's just life. Life is IN us, not our career. God, if career was my life I'd be ******. I don't define myself by my job title or what I do at work, I am me and that's the way I like it. I don't put on the poker face at work and start playing a "role" that I am supposed to. I am so honest and myself that this actually works in my favour because I don't speak from my ego, I speak from ME only. People like that. Say what you feel and you will have peace. The reason that you have a shitty relationship with your parents is because you put somewhat of a poker face on for them. Come from the heart and don't speak with your ego and you will be surprised that they will get off your back.
