My friend has a glaucoma, what are the chances of losing her vision? please help?

My friend detected her glaucoma early and if she takes her medecines and regular check ups what are the chances of her still lose her vision? From statistics or experiences what does the chance of not losing your vision if you have glaucoma? please help... ='(
