Losing audio after converting with Prism Video Converter?

i was converting videos from my new jvc everio gz-mg360 and they were .MOD files which arent compatible with windows movie maker so i converted them to .AVI with prism video converter and after they were all converted i lost sound. I had sound after i uploaded the raw footage to my computer i just lost it after i converted it. HELP?
